In der DSGS gibt es lexikalisierte Gebärden sowohl für die analoge wie auch für die digitale Uhrzeit. Es wird jedoch mehrheitlich die analoge Uhrzeit benutzt und dabei auf die Form oder Art der Uhr Bezug genommen.
Lexikalisierte Gebärden für Uhrzeiten geben die halbe Stunde (‘HALB’), die volle Stunde (‘PUNKT’) sowie die Anzahl Minuten vor (‘VOR’) oder nach (‘NACH’) der vollen Stunde an.

Die Uhrzeit kann linear dargestellt werden, wie in den folgenden zwei Beispielen aufgezeigt:

Hier werden die Gebärden ‘ZEHN’, ‘NACH’, ‘VIER’ und ‘UHR’ aufeinanderfolgend produziert. Ebenso im folgenden Beispiel:
(e) DREIUNDZWANZIG VOR ZEHN UHR – 00:36-00:40
Die digitale Uhrzeit, um beispielsweise die Abfahrtszeit eines Zuges oder eine ganz präzise Zeit anzugeben, wird mit Zahlen und Doppelpunkt dargestellt, wie in folgenden Beispielen ersichtlich:
